The award is for 20 (Twenty) students each of whom will receive One Hundred Thousand Naira (100,000), making a total sum of Two Million Naira (N2,000,000)
Criteria for the Award
Applicants must be poor and indigent.
Applicants must be registered Students of Tertiary Institutions in Nigeria. i.e Universities, Polytechnics and Colleges of Education
Applicants must have good academic performance.

Successful candidates will be awarded the Scholarship on Thursday, September 28, 2017 at Nigerian Law Publications House, Otunba Jobi Fele- Way, C.B.D., Alausa Ikeja, P.O. Box 80279, Lafiaji, Lagos State, at 12.00 Noon.
Interview
Awka: Applicants will be interviewed on Tuesday, August 29, 2017, at ASUU Secretariat, Nnamdi, Azikiwe University, Awka, at 10.00 am.

Application Closing Date Monday, 28th August, 2017. Method of Application Interested and qualified candidates should submit an application letter of not more than two (2) pages. The letter must include the name of the candidate, course and year of study, state of origin and why the candidate believes that he or she should be given the award. The application letter must be accompanied by:
A photocopy of the candidate's current identity Card
A letter from the candidate's current head of Department, including correct information on the candidate's CGPA for the last academic session
A letter from the Registrar certifying that the candidate is a student of the institution

The invited students were selected based on their performance in the 2017 National Common Entrance Examination conducted by the National Examination Council (NECO). Candidates have been selected from each State based on the criteria below: Criteria For Award
The student must be Nigerian and have written the National Common Entrance Examination organised by NECO.
The student must be indigenes of the State in which they were selected from.
The student must be in their final class (Primary 6) of a public primary school in Nigeria.
The student must be physically present to write the test at the designated school in the different locations.
Guardian/parents of pupils must sign a consent form confirming the authenticity of documentation provided during the accreditation exercise.
Candidates are expected to be accompanied by their parent/guardian to the examination centres and will be required to come with the following documents:
Two recent passport-sized photograph
Letter of introduction from primary school attended
Letter of identification from the Local Government Area of Origin.
Screening and test for the selected students who SNEPCo shall contact directly will be conducted on the date stated below.
