Description



  • The award is for 20 (Twenty) students each of whom will receive One Hundred Thousand Naira (100,000), making a total sum of Two Million Naira (N2,000,000)
  • Criteria for the Award
  • Applicants must be poor and indigent.
  • Applicants must be registered Students of Tertiary Institutions in Nigeria. i.e Universities, Polytechnics and Colleges of Education
  • Applicants must have good academic performance.
  • Award Ceremony
  • Successful candidates will be awarded the Scholarship on Thursday, September 28, 2017 at Nigerian Law Publications House, Otunba Jobi Fele- Way, C.B.D., Alausa Ikeja, P.O. Box 80279, Lafiaji, Lagos State, at 12.00 Noon.
  • Interview
  • Awka: Applicants will be interviewed on Tuesday, August 29, 2017, at ASUU Secretariat, Nnamdi, Azikiwe University, Awka, at 10.00 am.
  • Abuja: Applicants will be interviewed on Tuesday, September 12, 2017, at Festus Iyayi, ASUU National Secretariat, Kiri Campus, University of Abuja, Abuja, at 10.00 am.
  • Lagos: Applicants will be interviewed on Tuesday, September 26, 2017, at Nigerian Law Publications House, Otunba Jobi Fele- Way, C.B.D., Alausa lkeja, P.O. Box 80279, Lafiaji, Lagos State, at 10.00 am.

Monday, 28th August, 2017.



Method of Application
Interested and qualified candidates should submit an application letter of not more than two (2) pages. The letter must include the name of the candidate, course and year of study, state of origin and why the candidate believes that he or she should be given the award.

The application letter must be accompanied by:

  • A photocopy of the candidate's current identity Card
  • A letter from the candidate's current head of  Department, including correct information on the candidate's CGPA for the last academic session
  • A letter from the Registrar certifying that the  candidate is a student of the institution

  • A copy of the candidate's registration form for the current semester; and
  • Two (2) current passport photographs.

The application letter with all the supporting documents, should be forwarded (by hand or postal delivery) to:

50 Engineering International Undergraduate Scholarships in Australia, 2018



The Monash University is inviting applications for Engineering International Undergraduate Scholarships. These awards recognise high achieving international students studying Year 12 or IB in Australia and who receive an ATAR of at least 90.00.

The Monash Engineering offers a wide range of scholarships, designed not only to recognise academic excellence but also to enable students from diverse backgrounds to study engineering.



The Monash University is an Australian public research university based in Melbourne, Australia. Founded in 1958, it is the second oldest university in the State of Victoria.

Course Level: Scholarships are available for pursuing undergraduate programme.

Study Subject: Scholarships are awarded in the field of engineering.

Scholarship Award: $5000 for a full-time study load (48 credit points), paid for one year.



Number of Scholarships: The Faculty will offer up to 50 Engineering International Undergraduate Awards in 2018.

Scholarship can be taken in Australia

Eligibility: All conditions must be met:

International student

  • Studying Australian Year 12 or IB in 2016
  • ATAR of 90.00
  • Commencing an undergraduate single or double engineering degree program at a Monash campus in Australia

Nationality: International students are eligible to apply.



College Admission Requirement

Entrance Requirement: Equivalent Australian Year 12

Test Requirement: No

English Language Requirement:


  • IELTS 6.5 (no band lower than 6.0); or
  • TOEFL Paper-based test: 550 with a TWE 4.5; or
  • TOEFL Internet-based test: score of 79 overall with minimum scores: Writing 21, Listening 12, Reading 13, Speaking 18; or
  • Equivalent approved English test

NNPC/SNEPCo National Cradle to Career Scholarship Programme 2017



The Shell Nigeria Exploration and Production Company Limited (SNEPCo), operator of the
Production Shoring Contract (PSC) with the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC) and it’s other co-venturers; ExxonMobil, Total and NAOC, hereby announce the test for a 6-year full board secondary school scholarship in selected secondary schools across Nigeria.

2017 NNPC/SNEPCo National Cradle to Career Scholarship Programme



The invited students were selected based on their performance in the 2017 National Common Entrance Examination conducted by the National Examination Council (NECO). Candidates have been selected from each State based on the criteria below:

Criteria For Award

  • The student must be Nigerian and have written the National Common Entrance Examination organised by NECO.
  • The student must be indigenes of the State in which they were selected from.
  • The student must be in their final class (Primary 6) of a public primary school in Nigeria.
  • The student must be physically present to write the test at the designated school in the different locations.
  • Guardian/parents of pupils must sign a consent form confirming the authenticity of documentation provided during the accreditation exercise.


Candidates are expected to be accompanied by their parent/guardian to the examination centres and will be required to come with the following documents:
  • Two recent passport-sized photograph
  • Letter of introduction from primary school attended
  • Letter of identification from the Local Government Area of Origin.
  • Screening and test for the selected students who SNEPCo shall contact directly will be conducted on the date stated below.


Examination Date
Saturday, 22nd July 2017.

  • Shortlisted candidates will be contacted via SMS. 

  • All NNPc/SNEPCO scholarship applications, examinations and awards are FREE.
  • SNEPCo does not assign representatives/agents to assist in the application process.
  • Screening is continuous and any candidate found to move presented false documents will be disqualified or withdrawn at any level of the scholarship.
  • Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted.
